Pro Bono Support to community based organizations
SSG R&E strives to build the evaluation capacity of other community based organizations who share our mission for social justice and equity. Evaluations are often under-funded on projects. Thus we offer pro bono support to a variety of non-profits to ensure that they are able to demonstrate their impact and tell the story about how their work makes a difference. Your donation allows us to expand our reach to more organizations.
Community Researcher Fund
SSG R&E is committed to building community capacity to conduct research about the issues that they identify as priorities. Our approach includes training residents to conduct research in their communities. Coupled with data that validates their experiences, residents are empowered to be community leaders, advocates and stewards of their community’s data and interests. However, project budgets often do not include stipends for community members who volunteer countless hours to learn about research, collect data, analyze the results and use the findings to advocate for their needs. Your support allows us to pay community researchers a small but symbolic stipend that communicates our value of their expertise.
